The Senior Friends Group is an elderly group living in the neighbourhood who meet monthly to get to know each other, relax and enjoy listening to interesting speakers. There are also occasional quizzes, lunches at local restaurants and outings.
They meet on the last Friday of every month at 2.30pm in the Edwardian Cricket Pavilion on The Recreation Ground (Entrance is via William St, off Gt Pulteney St. Go through the turnstiles and the building is the green wooden one to the right).
This group is not run by PERA although a numbers of members are involved.
If you are interested in going along, you will be made very welcome.
